Overview

The Senior Executive Support Analyst will join an established AE Strategies team to support the Department of Defense Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA and Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This support will help our client design and develop a program which aims to foster an equitable and inclusive environment in which leaders’ value and encourage personnel to drive innovation and mission success, ultimately achieving strategic advantages through leveraging the diversity of all personnel. Specific responsibilities will include the following:


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of administrative tasks and provide administrative support to the Senior Executive Director: i) manage the executive's calendar, acting as a gatekeeper to avoid scheduling conflicts; ii) schedule meetings and video teleconferences; iii) draft, proofread, and prepare documents for signature; iv) prepare presentations and talking points in of advance meetings and/or speaking engagements; v) maintain internal and external contact lists; vi) coordinate travel, conferences and develop itineraries; vii) monitor the executive's e-mail for incoming requests for information and/or comment.
  • Track and provide coordination actions and reporting support for Congressional and other stakeholder inquiries to include consolidation of reports and staffing of packages.
  • Provide office administrative support such as reviewing and editing correspondence; providing administrative assistance in the packaging, scheduling, tracking, and responding to inquiries; and coordinating inputs from staff and other partner affiliations.
  • Maintain staff meeting agendas, draft meeting minutes, due-outs, and after-action reports, and develop and maintain other office tracking tools to coordinate effective synchronization of efforts across portfolios and programs.


Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Eligibility for Secret Clearance required.
  • Ability to work onsite five (5) days a week in Arlington, VA or four (4) days a week in Washington, DC required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Six (6) years' experience in support of federal government senior executives required; military experience required; DoD civilian experience a plus though not required.
  • Highly proficient in MS Outlook for email and calendaring on DoD network required.
  • Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
