Summary:
LHH is seeking a dedicated Application Administrator for our client in Castle Rock, CO. We are looking for someone to take charge of custom SaaS applications. This standalone role requires someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple projects, and work autonomously while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities:
- Application Support & Administration: Focus 90% on querying, scripting, and application optimization with major emphasis on app support and administration.
- Custom Apps Management: Work on 12+ custom SaaS applications, ensuring they are integrated and optimized effectively.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Partner with software engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
- Database Management: Limited traditional database administration with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and Amazon RDS.
- Security: Ensure database and application security in alignment with NIST and OWASP standards.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in both Linux and Windows environments (with a shift towards Linux).
- Proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, and Amazon RDS.
- Expertise in query optimization and tools such as Redgate SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare.
- Strong understanding of database and application security practices (NIST & OWASP).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (not required with strong experience).
- Experience in the aviation industry, with preference for those with a private pilot license or background in aviation SaaS.
