Title: Technical Writer - Communications Lead
Location: Los Angeles, CA(Remote)
Duration: 9 months(Extendable)
Job Description: The Technical Writer will serve as the communications lead within the Project Management Office (PMO). The Technical Writer will lead the management and release of all project related communications as well as maintenance of the project inbox and calendar. This will include planning, reviewing, and releasing communications for internal and external stakeholders; supporting vendor onboarding requests including access provisioning and system use training support (e.g. sharing of any project documentation, assisting with access to SharePoint); routinely monitoring, escalating, and processing communications received via the project inbox; managing project meeting scheduling via the inbox; supporting executives with the facilitation and preparation of meeting materials, agendas, and capturing meeting minutes; maintaining a breakdown of all existing executive level recurring meetings and attendees; collaborating with executive assistants to schedule meetings and assess availability; managing document version control during review cycles with management and external stakeholders for frequently updated documents; working extensively in Word and Excel (review, edit, track changes, formatting, and use of Styles and utilize file conversions); working extensively in office productivity and collaboration software utilizing Workflows, Document Sets, Document Libraries, and folder structures to maintain project documentation.

- Required Skills: Experience writing communications (e.g., newsletters, emails, etc.) for internal or external stakeholders.
- Experience scheduling executive level meetings.
- Ability to work well within a team, sharing responsibilities, and collaborating on security efforts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) with special emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for report creation and data analysis.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Teams, Project).
- Strong note-taking and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive problem-solving attitude, with the ability to anticipate needs and offer solutions
