Job Description

Responsible for supporting weekly business operations including forecast, reporting and analysis. This role will support leading cross functional Strategic Supply Chain projects with retail partners, 3rd party logistics and internal across all functional areas.

Role & Responsibility

1. Drive cross-functional collaboration with sales management, business management and client's Supply Chain Management on demand planning and forecasting assumptions and analysis.

2. Prepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecasting function

3. Support team and department managers in the implementation and deployment of organizational initiatives.

4. Ensures that business requirements are captured accurately and completely.

5. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines

6. Generate and track milestones; evaluating project issues and assisting with resolution.

7. Share project information with key stakeholders for decision making;

8. Prepare weekly project status communicating to keep the project aligned with goals and timeline.

9. Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected

10. Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as project needs change

11. Ensuring project closure including completion of lessons learned and required documentation.


Background & Experience

a Support Business operations weekly forecast, reporting and analysis

b Manage planning & tracking of expansion of Cross docks expanding next day delivery.

c Responsible for creating and managing project plan in support of strategic business initiatives.

d Knowledge of Retail & direct-to-consumer business processes and best practices, in order to inform decision-making processes

e Leads cross-functional matrix teams and initiatives; must be able to influence outcomes through strong leadership and expertise.


2 Education and Experience

a 5– 8 years of Supply Chain work experience required.

b 3-4 years’ project management experience.

c Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

d Bachelor’s Degree or direct business experience equivalent.

e Lean Six Sigma & APICS CPIM certification a plus (Certified Planning and Inventory Management)

f Experience and Strong knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and trends

g Successful experience working cross functionally in in a matrix team environment. .

h Prior experience in an appliance/ consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer strongly preferred.

i Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

j Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

k Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.

l Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite.


3 Key Competencies

a Knowledge of Retail business practices and operations is highly desirable.

b Experience in leading Supply Chain, preferably within a retailer

c Product/category experience with appliances, consumer electronics is desirable.

d Knowledge of premium brand channel sales, marketing, and operational processes is desirable.

e Extreme attention to detail is required.
