The Metals Trader will be responsible for buying and selling non-ferrous metals, managing trading activities, and maximizing profitability through strategic market analysis and trading decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis on metal markets, including supply/demand forecasts, price trends, and global economic impacts.
- Utilize financial instruments like futures and options to hedge risks and execute trades in ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Manage a portfolio of metal assets, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and buyers, negotiating contracts and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth trading operations.
- Monitor and manage market, credit, and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare regular reports on trading performance, market conditions, and risk exposure.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in metals trading, preferably in both ferrous & non-ferrous markets.
- Proficiency in using trading platforms and financial analysis software.
