Kelly Products is seeking a Brand Manager for its Outdoor division. The Brand Manager will ensure that the brands and products resonate with customers. The Brand Manager will analyze industry trends, demand, and competitive set, to create strategies to market the brands and products. The ideal Brand Manager will be creative and possess a strong analytical and strategic skillset.

The Brand Manager will collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and production teams to ensure successful campaign implementation and product alignment at sales channels. The Brand Manager reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Marketing to develop marketing plans for brands/products
  • Work with sales teams on product plans that maximize retail channels
  • Develop innovative growth strategies managing lead and customer acquisition
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors
  • Work with Finance on reporting to all internal stakeholders
  • Create brand content (Media pitches, press releases, email, website copy, social media, advertisements, and other marketing materials)
  • Measure and report the performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI
  • Manage media budget/placement (print, podcast, digital, etc.)
  • Work closely with Creative Director to develop collateral that engages target audiences
  • Work closely with Shipping, fulfillment, and Customer Service to ensure and desired customer experience is achieved
  • Work with eCommerce Manager and Web Developer to optimize brand websites
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to Marketing Director

Qualifications and skills

  • Required: Experience managing retail brands
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Experience with P&L management and budgeting
  • Experience in packaging design and retail display creation
  • Data-driven thinking and strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
