Who you are

As the Demand Gen Marketing Manager at Clair, you play a crucial role within our innovative and forward-looking team, dedicated to reshaping financial freedom for the American workforce. In this key position, you will be responsible for shaping the foundation of our B2B marketing strategies and tactics. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and key stakeholders to propel our B2B initiatives forward. Your main goal will be to create and enhance solid marketing strategies and automated processes that directly impact our lead generation and conversion efforts.


As a natural collaborator, you will closely collaborate with the sales team to ensure that our marketing initiatives not only align with our mission but also contribute significantly to our B2B2C funnel. You will oversee the B2B customer journey throughout the organization, ensuring that Clair's solutions effectively address their specific business needs. Additionally, you will establish scalable, repeatable, and measurable marketing processes, utilizing both your creative and technical skills to lay a strong groundwork for the future growth of the marketing team.


In this role, your success will be defined by your ability to expand Clair's current capabilities, establish a demand generation engine, and broaden our brand's influence and market reach through diverse marketing campaigns.


What you'll do
  • Develop, align, and implement a comprehensive B2B2C marketing strategy to generate and cultivate enterprise leads and drive employee conversions.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and partnership teams to build a robust pipeline and convert prospects into active leads.
  • Establish and manage marketing automation tools, such as Hubspot, to streamline campaigns and monitor leads.
  • Create the company's overarching content strategy, in line with the brand's vision and the B2B sales strategy.
  • Launch and prioritize omnichannel marketing campaigns, encompassing PR, paid social, paid search, and other relevant channels.
  • Shape Clair's image in the broader HR Tech and Benefits sectors by overseeing our partnerships with events and organizations to enhance our brand.
  • Lead projects aimed at automating marketing campaigns, enhancing sales nurturing efforts, and overseeing targeted paid marketing campaigns.
To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of demand generation and the essential steps to guide an enterprise client from awareness to advocacy.
  • A diverse skill set encompassing both technical and creative capabilities, with a readiness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
  • Highly collaborative and skilled at fostering strong cross-functional relationships, particularly with the sales team.
  • Prior experience in a fast-growing startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in a rapidly changing business landscape.
Required Experience/ Qualifications
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record in marketing automation, lead generation, and collaboration with sales teams and C-suite executives.
  • Proficiency with Hubspot Marketing Hub is desirable.
  • Experience in managing any of the following: PR agencies, paid social, events, marketing automation, and content strategy.
  • Some experience in hiring and overseeing cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, and web developers.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Additional Details
Location: This role is a hybrid position based in New York City, requiring on-site presence three days a week.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $145,000, with actual pay within this bracket determined by various factors like education, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of Clair's competitive total compensation package, which includes benefits, perks, and equity. This salary range is subject to adjustments and may be revised in the future.
