Join our team at Swedish First Hill Radiation Oncology clinic as a Providence Swedish caregiver, you'll apply your specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection and make a difference every day through your extraordinary care.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- At least 10 years of Nursing experience, oncology experience is recommended / preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a friendly and compassionate approach to cultivate a trusting patient-healthcare provider relationship.
- Diligently monitors patient vitals and external symptoms during radiation therapy.
- Advocates strongly for patients by effectively communicating treatment plans to interdisciplinary teams and family members.
- Exhibits attention to detail when recording notes and taking vitals, enabling accurate assessment of the patient's health status for other team members.
- Exhibits patience when discussing care plans with patients and their families.
- Possesses a high level of emotional intelligence to ensure a positive patient care experience, including the ability to simplify medical terminology and concepts for patients.
- Demonstrates strong communication and critical thinking skills, effectively performing beyond desired qualifications.
