The Marketing/Sales Manager is responsible for planning, developing, directing, and coordinating all aspects of marketing for the independent living residences of the continuing care retirement community. Marketing functions include direct sales, advertising, public relations, and prospect sourcing from multiple channels.

Principal Duties:
- Plans, develops, and executes all aspects of community independent living occupancy development, overseeing the annual marketing plan, business positioning, objectives, strategies, and budget.
- Works with prospective residents, family members, and key influencers to facilitate their commitment to the community through personal contact, events, seminars, and tours.
- Manages the sales process from inquiry to move-in and supervises the Marketing Department personnel.
- Prepares accurate records, maintains an annual marketing plan, and executes defined objectives and strategies.
- Plans open houses, events, and public information programs, collaborating with staff and residents.
- Participates in community activities, public information, media interactions, and department budget operation.
- Identifies and keeps track of marketing performance metrics and ROI measurement.
- Performs assigned additional duties and responsibilities.

What you will bring:
- Minimum ten years of progressive marketing experience.
- Minimum eight years of management experience with problem-solving, team building, and decision-making skills.
- Minimum five years of budget development and maintenance experience.
- Minimum five years of sales or public relations experience.
- Proven track record in leading sales teams and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and lead-tracking software.
- Excellent customer service skills and enjoyment in working with the elderly.
- Executive leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
