Description:
To be an effective team player and efficiently handle daily responsibilities to ensure seamless operations in a bustling medical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Take vitals as needed
- Room assignments
- Document patient information into EMR system
- Manage supplies and room stocking
- Coordinate tests and referrals
- Front desk assistance including phone support and appointment scheduling
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent education
- 1 to 3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly Athena/ECW
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Some regional travel required
