We're seeking a detail-oriented, experienced HVAC installation technician to be part of our team. You'll be responsible for visiting homes, assessing blueprints, codes, and manuals for installing various HVAC equipment. You'll also handle the installation of heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems.

As an HVAC technician lead installer, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team fulfilling a role that best fits you, whether consulting with clients, repairing, installing, or a mix of these tasks. You'll diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and guide customers to well-informed buying decisions by delivering an exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate possesses the technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and diagnose all equipment, and is a proficient problem solver and communicator. Ready to be part of our growing HVAC team? The role will be field-based, with your personal company-provided take-home truck.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular communication with dispatch, manager, and parts and installation teams
  • Ensure cleanliness of your company truck, both internally and externally
  • Keep up-to-date inventory in your truck
  • Accurately complete paperwork
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Engage in training to foster professional growth and development
  • Possess or be willing to obtain the required certifications, assistance provided
  • Replace heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment to inspect electrical circuits and components
  • Inspect pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks
  • Connect pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source
  • Arrange and connect electrical wiring according to the wiring diagram using hand tools
  • Adhere to all relevant standards, codes, policies, and safety protocols
  • Provide customers with instructions on the proper use of their new HVAC equipment
  • Enter completed projects and used parts into the database

Requirements:

  • Completion of HVAC program certification or associate's degree from a technical school and minimum 2 years as an HVAC installation technician (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Fundamental understanding of electrical wiring and connections
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics
  • Strong math, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills

Experience/ Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associates and college degrees preferred
