Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe have an immediate opening for an Account Executive. Full-time, competitive wage + commission + full benefits, including 401k. This is an outbound sales position helping various businesses and property owners in the Des Moines metro area.

GENERAL PURPOSE
To grow a new and existing customer base.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Lighting and sign knowledge desirable but not necessary.
*Excellent problem solving and organization skills.
*Very deliberate and effective communication and follow-through with existing and prospective customers by phone
*Able to communicate complicated technical issues, with effective presentation skills.
*Self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Demonstrate a professional image of the company at all times and ask for referrals.
MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Good interpersonal and communication skills.
*Should be able to work as a team member.
*Should have negotiation skills to deal with different kinds of customers.
*Able to meet deadlines along with working under pressure.
*Highly innovative and proactive.
*Capable to give quick and accurate response to questions.
*Should be able to handle varied tasks.
*Maintain an organized, clean and professional work area at all times.

NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS
Small and large businesses that have signs and/or lighting

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. *Lighting, electrical, sign experience or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the ability to fulfill all job responsibilities.
*Excellent verbal communication skills
*Willingness to call dozens of warm and cold leads provided every day
*Computer skills including email, database/POS software, web searches, etc.
*Basic math understanding and calculating
*Ability to read instructions and find information in government, property and other documents
*Training provided by company
