Duties

This position provides technical engineering support for projects in range, recreation, wildlife, and facility/infrastructure. Conducts field surveys to collect data on site conditions and inspect structures. Assists with development, preparation, and/or review of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction and/or proposed/ongoing projects. Coordinating and assisting on projects such as construction and maintenance of facilities like pipelines, wells, reservoirs, spring developments, fences, recreation sites, BLM buildings, and roads. Serving as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Project Inspector (PI) on assigned projects conducting pre-work, construction phase inspection, and follow up conference with contractors. Monitors contractor's work and materials testing/reporting to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, terms, and provisions of the contracts.
