Faculty Member – Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition
We are in search of a Family Medicine physician who is board certified/eligible for a role that involves:
- 3 days/week in the outpatient clinic
- 2 days/week in our residency clinic dealing with patients using OMT and instructing residents and students
Requirements:
- M.D. with osteopathic credentialing
- Open to recent medical school graduates with mentorship opportunities
- Lead OMT clinics with direct supervision and training
- Assist the Director of Osteopathic Education in various tasks
- Develop and deliver educational content on osteopathic principles in family medicine
- Conduct hands-on training sessions to ensure acquisition and application of osteopathic skills
- Take part in osteopathic projects and quality improvement initiatives
- Board certification/eligible in Family Medicine
- Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State
- Previous experience in teaching and mentoring residents and/or students is preferred
