Job Summary

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ESL classes in writing, grammar, reading, and academic discussion
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and student success
Requirements
  • Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with a culturally diverse population and effectively communicate with students from varying backgrounds
  • Preferred: Two years of experience teaching English for Academic Purposes to adults
