ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Deaf & Hard of Hearing Teacher to join a school district near Gaston, North Carolina. As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher, you will provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing to help them succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Contract position
- Full-time (35+ hours/week)
- Pay is determined by education and experience
- Elementary caseload
- Various tasks including assessments, eligibility determination, interventions, IEP goals, 1:1, and small group services
- Multiple school sites
Job Requirements:
- Active Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Certification in the State of North Carolina
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Background Check and Drug Screening
- Virtual candidates will undergo tech screening
