The Position

Responsible for the strategic processes providing the link between Product Supply (PS) strategies & site New Hampshire, for both short- & long-term targets. Provides the organization with information & business analysis to support decision processes & follow up. Assists with improvement projects with business impact analysis & continuously improves business information processes. Acts as the implementation partner for Line of Business (LoB) when implementing new corporate processes or though Finance Partnering. Gains global knowledge of improvement opportunities within Finance & procurement & ensures local implementation when relevant.

Essential Functions

Business Partnering:Act as Business Support Project Manager for strategic projects & implementationDrive improvement initiatives at both site & department levelEnsure that Site New Hampshire works according to Global Finance StrategyWork with process optimization both internally in Business Support & across siteDrive automation/digitalization efforts of Finance & ProcurementResponsible for creating site goals & insurance of right targets in cooperation with BRD API US Business SupportPrepare presentations for the BRD API US site CVPFinance Partnering:Financial partner with business unit to provide business insight & create business valueAnalyze, budget & forecast financial dataResponsible for ensuring Business Review, agenda & material is delivered on time with high qualityResponsible for preparation of monthly management report (MMR) for the siteTrending, analyzing & forecasting on site KPI's. Preparing in depth analysis for the management group of areas related to the goals & the KPI's with the purpose of clarifying questionsFollow up on corrective actions for KPI's in case of deviation from targetOrganize the site business plan process & the quarterly Business reviewsAd hoc tasks in area of business controlling & business analysisInvestment Controlling:Lead & prepare investment project budgets, forecast & variance analysisChallenge & support of investment projects, ensuring the business case is clear around financial impact & that proper financial governance is appliedParticipate in investment project meetings at all levels, which include: Project Team, Senior Leadership, Steering Committees & Investment Governance GroupsRisk Reporting:Responsible for risk management process across BRD API USPerform assigned month end processes & monthly reportingProvide support, assistance & back-up to & with financial processes & auditsReport risks to PS in a timely, well-organized & informative mannerResponsible for consolidation of investment data for financial reportingProduction Accounting:Responsible for site Material Consumption & Material Deviations budgets, forecast & variance analysisResponsible for monthly reporting to DK regarding all production accounting activities including variance analysis, provisions for scrap, inventory reconciliation, & unit costs reconciliationResponsible for weekly scrap detail analysis & investigations with production & warehouse teamsOther duties as assignedPerforms all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codesIncorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others Physical Requirements 0-10% overnight travel required. Physical Requirement Details. While performing this job employee work involves sitting most of the time with walking and standing required only occasionally. This position may lift up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. QualificationsEducation and Certifications:BS/BA from an accredited university in finance or related field of study requiredMBA in logistics, finance, or related field of study preferredWork Experience:Minimum of six (6) years of experience in finance or related field, of which three (3) years of experience is within the manufacturing industry (production, quality, maintenance, people, support) requiredPrior experience within strategy deployment & long-term target settingsAdvanced knowledge, experience & interest within the IT area (including Word, PowerPoint & Excel & Tableu)Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent analytical skillsExcellent customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlinesExcellent presentation skillsProven process improvement and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProactiveStrong ability to work across areas and build effective work relationsA curious and open mindsetChallenge other areas respectfully and constructively as needed We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
