Schedule: Monday-Friday (This is not remote-work position)

Job Summary:

The Divisional Controller is responsible for directing and analyzing the financial activities of operating entities under their control. Responsibilities also include but not limited to managing and executing/reviewing all costing and Divisional accounting activities for the division. In addition, the Divisional Controller role supports as needed all financial accounting activities, budgeting, audit, tax, and other projects.

The Divisional Controller is responsible leading, mentoring and developing direct reports, partnering with the business unit leadership, and focus on continually improving process and systems are key components of this role. The position is successful by embodying ENTEK's Core Values while exemplifying the philosophy of Servant Leadership and striving to uphold the ENTEK culture.

The Divisional Controller serves as a key business partner supporting the business unit leadership in achieving Divisional goals and improved decision making through analysis and data. They oversee the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure the completeness and accuracy of ENTEK's accounting books and records. The Divisional Controller manages the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and provide accounting support to assist operations in achieving their goals. In addition, they support as needed on a variety of activities, including process improvement and software implementation.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 7 years of accounting experience.
  • In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Effective written, spoken, presentation, and people skills in working with employees at all levels of the company, as well as in working with customers.
  • Experience with multiple entities, cross-company intercompany accounting, and related party transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Flexibility working within a growing, developing, and fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions.
  • Ability to execute work product quickly with the ability to extend working hours to complete assignments timely as needed, including nights and weekends.
  • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in related field.
  • CPA or equivalent.
  • Accounting experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 experience.
  • Strong experience in both private and public accounting sectors.
