Job Description

Position: Production Supervisor

Role Details:
  • Reviews production calendar for scheduling assembly tasks.
  • Assigns duties to assembly workers following workload analysis.
  • Addresses production issues to ensure product quality.
  • Oversees production lines and manages product availability.
  • Collaborates with the buyer to maintain adequate product quantities.
  • Supports company promotions with training, staffing, and production.
  • Directs the assembly of products based on incoming orders.
  • Collaborates with millworks management to ensure profitability.
  • Attends millwork meetings and required training sessions.
  • Adheres to McCoy Corporation's Standard Operating Procedures.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages a team of 20 to 30 Production Department employees.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising employees.
  • Plans and directs work assignments, evaluates performance, and resolves issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in basic math, problem-solving, and interpreting instructions.

WORK AVAILABILITY
  • Must maintain regular attendance and work 40 hours per week.
  • Open to working overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Requires standing, walking, manual dexterity, and good vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Works near machinery, in varying conditions, and with chemicals.
  • Exposure to loud noise and extreme temperatures.
