Join our Team as a Social Ministries Coordinator:

  • Develop and enhance Social Ministry programs aligning with community needs and The Salvation Army's mission.
  • Take charge of ongoing development, outcome monitoring, and policy implementation for Social Ministry Programs.
  • Stay updated on community dynamics influencing Social Ministry Programs.
  • Engage actively in community networking and represent The Salvation Army at events.
  • Identify clients for case management and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Manage the Food Pantry program, including food distribution and donation pick-ups.
  • Utilize knowledge of community services for providing case management and referrals.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of client interactions and participation in Pathway of Hope team activities.
  • Supervise and support volunteers engaged in Social Ministry Programs.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Public Relations, Non-Profit Program Management, or related field.

Experience: Two years in program management and experience in public relations, communications, and personnel supervision.

Or: Equivalent combination of training and experience providing necessary skills.

Certifications: Hold a valid Wisconsin driver's license approved for driving by TSA's insurance carrier.
