Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Oversight of a team of individuals who ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and applicable accounting policies.

Perform detailed reconciliations reviews for balance sheet accounts monthly

Responsible for ensuring the monthly close process is executed timely and all balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately.

Ensure capital expenditure reporting is accurate and distributed timely

Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close reporting including preparation of footnotes with proper support

Management of process improvement initiatives

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners

Assist with system design and implementations when appropriate

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:
At least a bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting AND 4+ years of related experience.

In‐depth understanding of US GAAP

Experience working with balance sheet reconciliations.

Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills – ability to identify discrepancies, perform research, and work toward resolution.

Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.

Desired:
Public accounting experience (Big 4,) or large regional firm, or consulting experience.

CPA or CPA candidate
