In support of the Department of Homeland Security's Cyber Security Division under the newly created Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency, Arcfield provides specialized security services to support the Department's critical cyber programs.

The National Cybersecurity Protection System (NCPS), also known as the EINSTEIN set of capabilities, is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that defend the federal executive branch civilian government's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.

The Enhanced Cybersecurity Services (ECS) program is a key avenue through which DHS fulfills its mission to protect U.S. based public and private entities from cybersecurity threats.

ECS provides intrusion prevention capabilities that help companies protect their computer systems against unauthorized access, exploitation, and data exfiltration.


In support of these efforts, our Network Monitor:

  • Performs management of technical and policy related findings as a result of compliance, vulnerability, penetration testing and internal reviews
  • Identifies and tracks discovered vulnerabilities
  • Meets with system owner, as required, to track progress of ongoing assessment and remediation attempts
  • Provides guidance to ensure vulnerabilities are fixed, mitigated, or risk accepted
  • Delivers remediation tracking for all outstanding issues
  • Provides vulnerability and POA&M management
  • Reviews SP/system owner change requests to ensure proposed changes are in accordance with all security requirements
  • Captures and stores pertinent artifacts for each change request
  • Performs annual assessments that support the continuous monitoring strategy for all systems with ATO

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF), ICD 503, NIST SP8005
  • US Citizenship
  • Experience implementing and using various IA tools including vulnerability assessment, patch management, audit collection
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
  • DHS Suitability and experience

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Mathematics, or Engineering is highly desirable.
