Join Our Team as a Senior Cost Accountant at a Leading Life Science/Medical Device Company

In our dynamic company, we are currently looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to take charge of managing and analyzing the financial performance of our operations. This key role involves monitoring, analyzing, and managing costs related to manufacturing, production, and other business processes. The Senior Cost Accountant will collaborate closely with different departments to ensure accurate cost allocation, supporting our financial planning and decision-making procedures.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Analysis and Reporting:
  • Prepare and review cost reports, identifying and clarifying variances.
  • Maintain precise records of cost data for internal and external reporting.
  • Conduct routine audits of cost accounting procedures for accuracy and compliance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Inventory Management
  • Calculate standard costs for products and keep them up to date.
  • Analyze production costs and suggest efficiency enhancements.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure the accuracy of cost information.
  • Offer financial analysis support to various departments to aid decision-making.
  • Identify and execute process enhancements to boost the precision and effectiveness of cost accounting activities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Excel functions like pivot tables and vlookups
