Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of
3 to 5 years paralegal ligation experience interested in growing their career among our team of staff and attorneys, who value and foster open and honest communication, and act with integrity and professionalism.

OPPORTUNITY |
Paralegal
Litchfield Cavo has 23 offices nationwide, and is quickly expanding. Our
Houston office seeks a well-rounded, highly-motivated,
experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our practicing litigation defense attorneys. Experience in insurance defense is a plus, but experience with billing and discovery is a must.

This is an exceptional opportunity to handle a variety of law office responsibilities including all aspects of the discovery process with a forward-thinking firm, in an expanding office.


SKILLS and ABILITIES
Experience with medical record retrieval and organization.;
- proven knowledge of electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in
Texas;:

  • work proactively, independently and as part of a team;
- organize, prioritize and implement urgent tasks with strong attention to detail;
- provide excellent written and verbal communication;
- remain self-directed, self-motivated and effectively work under tight time constraints;
- ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products;
- demonstrate proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro); demonstrated efficiency navigating the internet;
- iManage experience a plus.

Paralegal Certificate is not required, but preferred.
The firm provides an experienced support staff, current technology, ongoing training, and full-time IT and marketing departments.
