General Manager of Integrations

Position Summary
This position works in the Systems Integration Department and oversees all day-to-day operations of our Phoenix based team, with oversight into Nevada, New Mexico and other opportunities in the southwest.
The Integration GM is responsible for the Strategy, P&L of the branch, coaching and development of all the systems team members based in Phoenix & Nevada. Duties include providing engineering development, design integration, sales and technical support, and quality assurance for all audio/visual systems.
This position requires a highly technical individual with a strong work ethic, high customer service and solid communication skills. This position must work closely with the Project Manager, Engineers and Field Installers on each project to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises, coaches and mentor's audio visual team members.
- Manages expenses, salaries, head count and directly in charge of P&L for branch
- Works withing Netsuite to assign projects to the design team as well as to Project Managers
- Manages direct relationship with subcontractors to set SOW and procedures for projects between customer and our subcontractors.
- Responsible for yearly reviews of employees as well as counseling as needed.
- Create detailed system designs to include audio, video, control systems, etc.
- Interface and update Bluum CRM software and cloud-based storage systems.
- Communicate with vendors on product information, pricing, and timelines, as needed.
- Complete bid documentation including: attending bid planning meetings to identify customer needs, budget requirements, design, and bid submittal.
- Prepare custom proposals, labor estimates, material needs, and Scope of Work.
- Estimate Installation, Programming, and Configuration labor.
- Responsible for the overall detailed system design from conception through installation completion.
- Provide technical assistance to the System Integration Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, Installers, Technicians, Programmers, and Sales Representatives as needed on projects.
- Answer questions and educate customers and staff on audio/visual systems.
- Join project kickoff meetings to transition projects after Purchase Orders are received to Project Management lead.
- Assist in Change Request creation.
- Provide onsite assistance as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Update As-built drawings after project completion.
- Attend customer consult meetings with Sales Representatives in-house or onsite as necessary.
- Advise customers of design ideas, receive feedback on customer needs, and gather information for design phase of process.
- Bachelors degree prefeed
- 10+ years of AV experience
- 5 years of low voltage signal flow for video/audio/control, D-Tools, and CAD design
