Manufacturing Buyer/Planner

This will involve:
Use Epicor & Link ERP software to review demand signals and purchase parts from the Manufacturing divisions to stock and sell out of TVH DistributionMonitor backorder levels of parts in ERP programs and take appropriate actions to forward prioritization information to the manufacturing divisionsUse Epicor ERP software to create & modify Sales Orders into the systemReview results of MRP in Epicor and firm or create jobs as necessary to fulfill demandReact to purchasing suggestions provided by Epicor and generate purchase orders for raw materialsMonitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery, in accordance with the manufacturing scheduleWork closely with suppliers to ensure prices, payment terms, lead times, preferred freight carriers are agreed upon and accurate in Epicor ERPEstablish strategies for purchasing in the most efficient and cost effective mannerRegularly analyze raw material inventory and demand to determine potential shortagesUtilize tools in Epicor to understand potential capacity issuesMaintain the integrity of Epicor ERP part master data and update part master data with missing information as neededConfirm part settings are correct to ensure that MRP is performing as desiredMonitor dashboards in the system to ensure we will be able to meet our customer's deadlinesMonitor all Past Due orders and communicates status with Manufacturing team membersCommunicate with the customer promptly if there are any potential issues which could delay delivery of their orderIdentify opportunities to improve current purchasing/planning/inventory management processesIdentify areas where cost savings can be achieved without the sacrifice of qualityApply TVH's Mission, Vision, and Values and exhibits enthusiasm for and a desire to see TVH succeedHOW TO SUCCEEDWe're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems.

Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years work experience performing substantially similar essential functions or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust demonstrate a knowledge of general business practicesMust possess work experience in purchasing or an educational equivalentDemonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated experience and proficiency using Word, Excel, Gmail applicationsMust possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others to achieve productivity and quality standardsDemonstrates effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to foster teamwork within a team centered cultureDemonstrates effective problem solving ability and attention to detailExperience multitasking, prioritizing, tracking, coordinating, and expediting activities to meet production schedules.
Demonstrates proficient understanding of supply chain management & customer serviceDemonstrates a passion for technology and ability to rapidly adapt to change.
