Position Overview:

The Project Management and Partner Manager will act as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of external mortgage technology partners. Work will include ongoing management of external partner technology integrations to various Freddie Mac systems, and manage projects related to distribution and adoption of Freddie Mac solutions.

Our Impact:

Freddie Mac's Single Family Partner Delivery team is responsible for managing third-party mortgage technology partners and integration, distribution and adoption of Freddie Mac's loan origination, underwriting, and loan delivery systems and offerings. Our team is a key part of our Single Family Client Engagement organization to ensure we have the right partners to support our client's needs.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Single-Family Partner Delivery teams. You will be encouraged to collaborate and build relationships with internal partners across the organization as well as the third party mortgage technology partners. You will support, lead, execute, and implement various internal and external Freddie Mac technology and project initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the point of contact on the Partner Delivery team for assigned software partners and for key projects
  • Coordinate and manage ongoing change management for internal changes and/or Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP) mandates with software partners that are building new integrations or have an existing integration with Freddie Mac
  • Attend internal and client facing meetings to represent the software partners perspective and to provide input into expected enhancements and changes to various file formats and specification updates
  • Support other emerging origination, underwriting, and delivery system updates as required
Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of related experience with the primary or secondary mortgage market, or mortgage technology partner experience, and project management skills.
  • Experience with income, asset or employment verifications a huge plus.
  • Experience with property appraisal or title insurance optional.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of integration with third parties and various types of data (JSON, XML) required.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively to meet frequent deadlines.
  • Ability to lead multiple cross organization project initiatives.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Employs extensive professional expertise as a generalist or specialist.
  • Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Work is accomplished without appreciable direction.
  • Exerts considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.
  • Serves as the organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs.
