Surgical Services Material Associate

Who You Are:

As a Surgical Services Materials Assistant at Catholic Medical Center, you play a crucial role in supporting patient care by managing supplies and equipment efficiently. Your friendly and positive demeanor, along with your commitment to exceeding customer expectations, make you an ideal fit for our team.

This is a fully benefited full time position (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday (either 6:30am-3:00pm or 7:00am-3:30pm)

What You'll Do:

Under the general supervision of the OR Materials Manager, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to the stocking and inventory of supplies in the Surgery department.

Your tasks will include:

·Restocking supplies,

·Checking expiration dates,

·Completing purchase orders, and

·Collaborating with nursing staff to keep materials up-to-date.

Additionally, you'll assist with purchasing activities, contribute to reducing on-hand inventory, and participate in annual inventories.

Your role goes beyond tasks directly related to supplies, as you'll also contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for patients and customers.

What You'll Bring:

·High School Degree or equivalent education.

·Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting up to 20 to 50 pounds occasionally.

·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·A positive attitude and a customer-centric approach.
