SimcoION, Eltex, Pillar Technologies, Teknek, Opto Diode, Vortec, Paxton, AEGIS).Job DescriptionAs a key member of the Electro Static Technology leadership team, a business within the Electrostatics Division, the Global EV Business Development Manager reports directly to the Business Unit Manager and is responsible for delivering above-market growth, defining Long Range and Annual Plans and developing the talent of the Electric Vehicle Segment Team.

The Global EV Business Development Manager oversees a group of Account Managers, Applications Engineers, and Customer Service Representatives located in the USA and Europe and is responsible for coordinating efforts with our channel partners in China, Korea, and Japan.

As a member of the leadership team, the Global EV Business Development Manager provides critical inter-departmental leadership and collaboratively contributes to the strategic direction of Electro Static Technology.

Success in this role requires an individual with strong communication skills and the ability to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy and Business Development:

Partners with the leadership team to develop and execute Annual and Long-Range Plans based on an in-depth understanding of business and operations.

Develops the vision, strategic plan, and annual tactics in collaboration with leadership to drive an optimized global sales and business development strategy.

Identifies new opportunities for growth in strategic industry segments including opportunities for market expansion and new product innovation.
Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and deploy marketing initiatives and effective marketing collateral.

Sales Planning and Management:
Increases sales in strategic markets and determines sales strategies in non-strategic markets. Leads sales team to grow strategic markets above market growth rates. Leads and energizes sales team to sell value and differentiation to the market. Leads sales pipeline, forecasting, planning and budgeting process.

Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in planning, forecasting and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.


People Leadership & Talent Development:
Leads and develops talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness. Fosters a culture of engagement and accountability, cascading vision, and creating goal alignment with business objectives.
Coaches through feedback, development planning and performance management.
Builds a strong pipeline of talent to ensure a diverse high performing organization.
Identifies, develops and monitors development plans for direct reports and high potential leaders. Creates an organizational structure with accountabilities to ensure a high functioning sales force and changes talent when required.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering, MBA preferred.10+ years of demonstrated experience in value-added equipment and/or technology sales.5+ years of experience in the automotive supply chain.

Excellent communication, written/verbal, and interpersonal skills.
International experience and ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and development.
Demonstrated ability to gain successful results through others.
Customer-centric, always bringing forth the Customer's perspective.
