The HR Assistant assists with a variety of administrative duties. Primarily will help the Human Resources department with recruiting, maintaining files, and assist the HR Director.
Reports To: HR Director
Department: HR Department
Supervisor Responsibilities: (none)
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage the whole recruitment process to include posting job ads, setting up interviews, sending documents required to hiring managers, and following up on potential candidates.
  • Assist our recruiters in sourcing candidates.
  • Performing reference checks and background checks.
  • Onboarding new hires.
  • Preparing and conducting New Hire orientation.
  • Attract, hire, and retain employees.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Coordinator and HR Director
  • Compiling and updating employee records.
  • Assist with Timekeeping records.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Employees work on their assigned schedule and comply with the Employee Time Policy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow and retain procedures with the high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks.
  • Exhibits professional attitude and appearance.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations.
Education & Experience:
  • Operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.
  • 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources and Recruiting.
  • 1-3 years experience in the legal field or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sedentary work with prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer.

Salary Commensurate with experience. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certification.
