Summary Description: This position plays a vital role in executing talent capabilities, services, and initiatives aligned with the company's strategic objectives to enhance the Family Member (employee) Experience. The role involves collaborating across departments to implement Human Resources (HR) and talent strategies, fostering a culture of care to drive Family Member satisfaction. Responsibilities also include managing programs to cater to the personal, professional, and organizational needs of Family Members throughout their lifecycle. As a trusted advisor, this role offers guidance, policies, and activities aimed at benefiting the employee-employer relationship while providing day-to-day support on HR-related matters to employees, supervisors, and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners proactively with leaders for talent planning and development initiatives.
  • Offers HR support for designated functions/departments, creating plans for coordinated actions during change management.
  • Serves as an HR business facilitator at various work locations to enhance work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Maintains knowledge of employment legislation and interprets HR laws, market trends, and administrative regulations for supervisors and employees.
  • Acts as a liaison between Family Members and supervisors to ensure fair treatment in all employment aspects.
  • Provides advice on employee relations, mediates conflicts, and facilitates solutions between Family Members and supervisors/managers.
  • Assists in grievance/disciplinary processes, budget guidelines, and quarterly/yearly budgeting.
  • Liaises with departments to develop governance policies, recommends improvements, and suggests organizational strategies.
  • Assists in managing HR activities during mergers, acquisitions, and other organizational changes.
  • Collaborates with Financial Planning and Business Managers on talent planning and organizational adjustments.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving human resources issues with a systematic approach
  • Skilled in performance management, recruitment support, leave administration, and team management
  • Proficient in conducting HR projects, analyzing data, and leading teams
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources or related experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Workday
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and personnel administration
  • Understanding of organizational development strategies and business acumen
  • Capability to provide strategic solutions using organizational data and metrics
