Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting or graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program with at least 1 year recent experience
  • Medical assistant certification or eligibility
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to obtain certification through CMM M.A exam course if not certified at employment

Physical Demands:

  • Range of body movement & strength
  • Prolonged sitting/standing periods
  • Physical exertion under certain circumstances
  • Normal vision & hearing with occasional lifting

Salary Information for New York Residents: Competitive hourly rates ranging from $16.00 to $23.13 based on qualifications and experience. UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including stock purchase, 401k contributions, and recognition programs.
