Westchester Medical Center is seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise patients to ensure their safety and well-being, and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist nurses with personal care tasks, including bathing, oral hygiene, hair and nail care, skin care, lotion and massage, elimination, dressing, positioning, transfers, and ambulation.
- Engage in meaningful conversations with patients and their families, and escort patients as directed by the nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff to ensure accurate and timely reporting of patient information.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, and maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the patients.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- **Experience:** No prior experience is required.
- **Education:** A High School Diploma or GED is required.
