We are partnering with a medical services company who is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Global Revenue Senior Manager to join their Revenue Accounting Team This individual will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across finance, billing, and business teams, and will play a pivotal role in providing monthly support for a range of billing and accounting functions.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle, including billing, cash application, and collections, for a diverse client base spanning three business units, managing 1,500 client accounts and 2,000 invoices monthly.
  • Streamline month-end billing close process, analyzing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency within existing systems and resources.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10+ employees.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of monthly revenue performance against volume metrics and business day equivalents, informing strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement tailored billing processes to accommodate evolving contractual terms.
  • Provide expert guidance on client inquiries regarding invoice groupings and reporting details, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
  • Supervise cash application process, setting goals for unapplied cash and collections, and managing relationships with third-party collections agency.
  • Coordinate with COO in bi-weekly reviews of service disruptions, legal matters, and collections strategies, facilitating proactive resolutions.
  • Engage with clients directly to address payment plans, late payments, and bankruptcy filings, ensuring effective resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate Allowance for Doubtful Accounts and advise on specific reserves, contributing to financial risk management.
  • Support senior leadership in analyzing Accounts Receivable Aging targets and managing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics.
  • Review audit requests related to AR/revenue and IT systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Drive various special projects, such as system transitions, integrations, and ERP implementations, to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls, documenting policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in analyzing diverse data sets, with a keen ability to derive meaningful insights and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel, with a strong command of various Microsoft applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise communication of complex financial information.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across departmental functions and building strong working relationships.
