Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Assistant who can work front desk when needed, to join our team.

As a Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting.

Your role will involve greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations in the front office.


Duties:

  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Manage patient records, including updating personal information, medical history, and insurance details
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures when main assistant is busy
  • Take dental X-Rays
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely delivery of services
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality

Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist/Dental Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a dental office is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
We offer competitive pay based on experience.
