Transportation Coordinator

Atria Signature - Tarzana is seeking a skilled Driver to provide safe and courteous transportation services to our residents. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our community shuttle, assisting residents with mobility needs, and maintaining the vehicle's upkeep. If you have a strong commitment to customer service, a clean driving record, and experience with vehicle maintenance, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

**Responsibilities:**

* Drive our community shuttle to various destinations, ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents
* Assist residents with mobility needs, including securing wheelchairs and providing support during transportation
* Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness and perform routine maintenance tasks
* Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs
* Deliver groceries and other belongings to residents' apartments
* Assist the Engage Life Department in activities and programs as needed

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Five or more years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs
* Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles
* Ability to operate a seven to sixteen passenger bus, unless otherwise required by Atria or state law
* Experienced with vehicle emergency repairs and able to change automobile tires
* Knowledgeable of all streets within an 8-mile radius of the community
* Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Atria's Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards
