AP Health, a private practice of highly skilled advanced practice providers, specializes in delivering perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers in partnership with facilities.
We are looking for a seasoned Physician Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics to join our team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will exclusively focus on surgical procedures without clinic duties, providing an excellent opportunity to be part of a top-tier care team.
This role does not involve travel, locum, placement, or per diem assignments. AP Health is not a staffing agency.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
- Assist in positioning and draping the patient as directed by the surgeon
- Perform suturing and tissue layer retracting
- Support intra-operative patient care through assigned technical tasks
- Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
- Participate in rotating on-call duties
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a surgical first assist in robotics
- Active Tennessee State License
- NCCPA Board Certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
