Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Analyze financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and documenting performance commentary. Perform trend and sensitivity analyses to determine potential impacts to business results
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with applicable business units and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the status of identified initiatives
  • Gather, organize, and present financial data for the applicable area for management reporting and in preparation for regular leadership reviews
  • Prepare and summarize plan vs. actual reports and variance explanations for applicable areas
  • Understand and monitor relevant KPIs/trends/events impacting the business and incorporate this information into forecasts and analyses
  • Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas
  • Implement and support continuous improvement in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Exercise flexibility in working time or hours when needed to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide reporting and analysis in support of contracts, strategic pricing plans, variable incentive compensation programs, and product promotions
  • Implement ongoing process optimization and usage of new reporting tools related to contract maintenance and execution, Product Management pricing submissions, and variable incentive compensation programs
  • Summarize large and complex datasets and develop reporting and dashboards in support of analytical processing
  • Interpret contract results including pricing, rebates, AAPs, and usage agreements and communicate to management to ensure understanding of performance and identification of risks
  • Partner with the National Accounts, Sales, Legal, Contracts, and Client Relationship Optimization Teams to:
    • Enforce sound contract and pricing policies and procedures
    • Understand issues impacting National Account contracting
    • Participate in documentation, reporting, and analytics of all contracts, pricing, and rebate agreements to drive accuracy and accountability in results
    • Improve contract reporting and visibility within business intelligence platforms
    • Analyze and provide reporting related to total customer discounts inclusive of rebates and AAP accounts
    • Champion the enforcement of contract terms and conditions, expirations, and timely renewals
  • Assist, when needed, with calculation, and submission of commissions and rebates within the variable incentive compensation systems
  • Validate systems on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of system calculations
  • Provide support for issues arising from financial systems and their interaction with SAP transactions
  • Gather requirements and document system development, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Perform research and liaise with Finance, Accounting, Customer Service, and IT Center of Excellence to resolve data validity issues
Specialized Skills:
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP system or equivalent
  • Strong collaboration & negotiation skills
  • Intermediate presentation skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge in key areas of responsibility and BI Tools

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business/ Economics required
