At Spartronics, the Manufacturing Cost Specialist coordinates, directs, and leads cost and quoting efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of projects and programs to make sure Spartronics meets customer expectations and manufacturing requirements. This includes reviewing, pricing, and analyzing manufacturing costs, lead times, and performance.

What a Day Looks Like:
Determine total production process input for labor quotesDevelop cost element structures to capture all areas of costsDevelop manufacturing cost estimating relationshipsExecute performance monitoring and provide analysisProvide financial reporting and trending dataWork with engineering groups to develop and/or revise manufacturing processes, procedure, work instructions

Key Metrics:

Labor quoting accuracyQuoting on time deliveryCost quoting turn timeRequirementsEducation/License/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics or other related engineering field (preferred)- 2 years' experience in cost engineering, cost estimating - 4 years' experience in engineering field preferably manufacturing or electrical (preferred)Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programsFunctional knowledge of accounting, financial accounting (preferred)We are ITAR Compliant.
