What You'll Do in This Position:

  • Provide training on financial analysis techniques, including variance analysis.
  • Prepare presentations for project, client, and management reviews.
  • Utilize planning meetings for data gathering and database input.
  • Collect and update data to produce cost/scheduling management reports for effective program scope management.
  • Lead organization, development, implementation, and maintenance of total project controls, financial analysis, or estimating applications.
  • Oversee a small group of analysts to perform financial procedures and prepare reports regularly or as needed.
  • Act as a key liaison between the business environment and the DOE/NNSA for financial reporting and planning.
  • Conduct complex financial activities and oversee project cost reviews and schedule meetings.
  • Develop and implement Project Controls programs, baseline plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and spend plans for optimal resource utilization.
  • Innovate financial control concepts and provide guidance on financial planning and analysis to subordinates.
  • Analyze cost and schedule variances and communicate reasons and mitigation plans to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of Site Business systems functionality.
  • Offer technical and administrative direction, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of financial analysts.
  • Prepare and present financial information to senior management and the DOE/NNSA.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS conducts pre-employment screenings including drug tests, background checks, and security clearances as required by DOE. Job positions may mandate applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance necessitating U.S. citizenship. Factors such as background review results, citizenship status, and tax payment compliance can impact security clearance eligibility, subject to individual assessments.
