John Smith Landfill, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position available for a HeavyEquipment Operatorat our operation in Hollister, CA .

The primary duties of this job is operating : Excavator, Loader, Dozer, compactor. Class B CDL is preferred.

The schedule will be 4 days per week, 10 hour days, plus some overtime. The schedule will include either a Saturday or Sunday.

The starting pay rate will be $32/hour. The pay range for this job category is $32-41/hour. We also offer great family benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid vacation etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Proficient in operating all yellow iron on site.

Operating Dozer, Compactor, Excavator, ADT, Loaders, Backhoes, and Roll off Trucks

Loading recycle materials in a hopper

Pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble

Responsible for equipment inspection

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Class B CDL highly preferred. Clean driving record required.

Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
