Position Summary:
The role involves overseeing the logistics of receiving, storing, and distributing spare parts, ensuring an efficient inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive shipments from suppliers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Prepare and dispatch parts to vendors, maintaining proper records.
- Manage the preparation and shipment of Company Owned Material (COMAT).
- Initiate and track repair and purchase orders as necessary.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Stock shelves and ensure that all parts are correctly labeled and easily accessible.
- Input data into the computerized inventory management system.
- Execute additional tasks as directed by the stockroom supervisor.
Work Environment & Cultural Competencies:
- Experience in logistics and inventory management.
- Proficient in basic MS Office applications and general computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English effectively.
- Demonstrated motivation, resourcefulness, and organizational skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and adaptability are essential.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ethical handling of sensitive information is a must.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in packaging and shipping parts is preferred.
Physical Demands:
The physical requirements for this position include:
- Regularly standing, sitting, talking, and using hands for computer and telephone operations.
- Ability to lift moderate to heavy items (up to 60 lbs).
- Capability to climb ladders and work on platforms and lift equipment.
- Working in confined spaces may be necessary.
