The position

By joining our team in Renewables you will have the opportunity to:
Support Equinor's strategy and growth ambitions across the Americas region, with specific focus on Latin America Be a key part of Equinor's Renewables (REN) Americas business and will support market development for offshore wind and green hydrogen across Latin Americas (outside of Brazil) Responsibilities include regulatory/government relations, regulatory affairs, and high-level stakeholder engagement including key regulators and policymakers, in coordination with overall commercial and stakeholder efforts Leverage expertise and network to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for Equinor's engagement in relevant market development efforts, including supporting market prioritization efforts Lead engagement in relevant industry associations and work groups and coordinates with state and local legislative efforts and federal regulatory and legislative efforts Actively monitor, report on and analyze regulatory developments, proposed policies and issues impacting offshore wind and renewables market and operations in Latin America Participate in strategic planning and setting ambitions for Equinor's portfolio, proactively working to shape regulatory structures Become a trusted, reliable source of information, resources and point of contact to policymakers and other stakeholders Shape policy supportive of the public good and sound operational conditions in a manner reflecting our values – open, courageous, collaborative, caring Coordinate with industry partners, consultants and others to execute Equinor's renewables strategy and helps drive market outcomes consistent with company, association and other allied parties' priorities.

For this position, we are also looking for: 10+ years of demonstrated experience/active engagement with regulatory agencies, preferrably with experience in the South American regulatory agencies A Bachelor's degree in public policy, economics, public administration or other related field/ and/or graduate level or law degree Existing active regulatory network in both North and South America preferred Possesses strong organizational and communication skills to work with multi-disciplinary team Fluent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Spanish Up to 25% percent travel, domestic and internationally required as part of the role
