Position Summary

The Account Executive will focus on new business bookings within our Commercial segment (greenfield accounts with revenues under $500 M) through the creation of sales leads, establishing ongoing rapport and closing business. The ideal candidate will have the drive to breakdown doors and the skillset to help customers understand the transformational value Hacker Powered Security can bring to their business.

This position will report to the Sr. Manager of North America Commercial Sales. This is a remote position based in the Northeast territory - Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Canada.

What You Will Do

  • Onboarding at HackerOne: Sales Bootcamp, Command of the Message, MEDDPIC and Value Negotiation training
  • Responsible for high velocity full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Territory development skills and ability to generate and qualify customer leads
  • Conduct online and in person presentations and demonstrations of the HackerOne platform
  • Rapidly learn about Internet security, vulnerability coordination, and bug bounty programs
  • Understand a prospect's needs and challenges to effectively communicate how HackerOne will address those needs or help solve those challenges
  • Use for lead, account, and opportunity management
  • Maintain an accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecast
  • Properly transition new customers to our Customer Success team
  • Bring your strategies, learnings, and ideas to advance HackerOne's values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Presidents club for top performers

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience, selling and closing within the B2B tech space
  • Ability to manage a strong sales process using both in person and online presentation tools
  • Evidence of over-achievement in past roles in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment
  • Adept at understanding and articulating new technologies, and mapping the respective value propositions to customer needs
  • Experience in working with and leading virtual sales team members to close business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Competency with and Outreach
  • This is a remote position. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Compensation Bands: Base Salary (50/50)
Tier Guide

Tier A: $90k - $1120k

Tier B: $81k - $101k

Tier C: $76k - $95k
