About This Role
The Manager, Executive & Equity Compensation supports various compensation-related activities within the Executive Compensation Team. This role involves managing a wide range of day-to-day compensation tasks and projects. Reporting to the Executive Compensation Lead, the Manager is expected to navigate effectively in a complex team environment reporting to the Associate Director, Executive Compensation.

What You'll Do

  • Provide analytical and other support across all aspects of executive compensation. Collaborate with the Head of Executive Compensation to prepare materials for compensation committee meetings. May be required to present materials to executive leadership.
  • Project manage the process for annual disclosure materials, including CD&A and proxy tables. Work with various internal and external partners to compile information and offer analytical support.
  • Assist in the annual compensation and performance cycle for senior executives. This includes market competitive reviews and preparation for compensation committee meetings.
  • Participate in executive compensation projects, supporting with data analysis, project management, and communications.
  • Support the Executive Compensation Lead with executive job offers, reorganizations, and other compensation activities. Analyze market data to develop pay recommendations for executives at and above Vice President level.
  • Collaborate with compensation team members, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HRBP professionals on assigned projects.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Biogen's compensation policies and processes, collaborating effectively across the HR organization.
  • Create and manage LTI and ESPP dashboards within the equity compensation management platform.
  • Review equity-related transactions for SOX compliance and provide support for internal audits.
  • Prepare dilution reports for management and the board of directors, along with other required equity usage analyses globally.
Qualifications

Who You Are
An experienced professional with a solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills. Capable of creating presentations for leadership and curious to learn new things.

  • 5-7 years of compensation or related field experience required. Biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge in executive and general compensation programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for summarizing data effectively.
  • Self-driven with a willingness to challenge traditional approaches.
  • Experience in developing materials for executive leaders and public disclosures.
  • Ability to simplify complex compensation matters and communicate clearly in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
