An Assistant Teacher, or Teaching Assistant, provides classroom support for a lead teacher as they guide the class through a lesson by preparing materials, interacting with students and supervising projects.

Their duties include preparing lesson plans, tutoring students one-on-one or in groups, taking attendance and monitoring student progress.

Teacher Responsibilities

Contributes to child learning, growth, and advancement.
Displays a passion for developing age appropriate educational activities and practices.
Maintains a positive mindset toward child learning and social-emotional development.
Works efficiently within existing learning structures and believes in the capability of children to excel.
Facilitates problem-solving.
Serves as a role-model to child learners.
Invests in the students' well-being, health, and safety.

Ability to work independently and as a part of our team positively to ensure happiness, encouragement within a cohesive environment.

Contributes to the overall health, safety and cleanliness of classrooms and our center overall.
Adheres to school processes and protocols.

General hours are

Pay:
$ $12.00 per hour
