The Procurement Analyst III is responsible for utilizing foundational purchasing knowledge to complete substantive assignments, projects, and tasks of moderate scope and complexity at our company.

In this role, you will independently use department and campus protocols, policies, and guidelines to make sound judgments on the acquisition of goods and services.


Duties:
  • Continuously improving the purchasing workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of all purchasing requests for best efficiency
  • Developing, managing, and maintaining fiscal and operational reporting for analytical insights
  • Building and maintaining a database of all inventoried equipment service agreements, delivery schedules, and payment plans
  • Drafting and executing complex purchase orders of capital expenditures, supplies, and services
  • Establishing strong vendor relationships to ensure the best rate and quality of service
  • Collaborating with campus central finance departments to reconcile complex account issues
  • Training and developing new hire procurement specialists
  • Working with Purchasing Manager to develop and distribute department guidelines and training
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of University and Federal purchasing policies and procedures - preferred
  • Experience using on-line Purchasing Systems to create complex requisitions and negotiate with suppliers
  • Professional communication skills with various stakeholders to resolve problems efficiently
  • Ability to organize and manage large volumes of information in physical and electronic systems
  • Proficiency in Excel for designing, modifying, and running various reports
  • Financial analysis skills and budget administration abilities
  • Proficiency in using IBM PC and Mac OS with Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of radiological supplies, services, and equipment
  • Analytical skills in accounting data to discover errors and formulate fiscal projections
  • Knowledge of university material management procedures and accounting reports
