Oncology Financial Services Manager Job Code Department/Postion # Pay Grade Reports to: Vice President Position Description/Summary Identify and obtain grants, free drugs, and co-pay assistance for the oncology patients receiving their care at OLOL Cancer Institute.
This position reports to the VP of the Cancer Institute and collaborates with the revenue cycle team to maximize the current processes (denials and billing opportunities) within the Cancer Service Institute.
Engage with the oncology patients to assist with managing their financial responsibilites for their cancer treatment.Minimum Requirements:

Manage the patient relationship with the patient and the facility regarding financial obligations for their infusion treatments. Collaborate with Cancer Institute leadership and clinical team to ensure that clinical care is supported financially. Performance Expectation b. Manage the operational integration with pharmacy team in obtaining free drug. Performance Expectation c. Foster the relationship between the denials and scheduling team as it pertains to the oncology patients and their treatment. Performance Expectation d. Performance Expectation e. Quality and patient Safety Category Weight 30% Performance Expectation a. Serves as a point of contact for the patients regarding their billing associated with their infusion treatment. Performance Expectation b. Support the oncology clinical team with best practices for managing denials and revenue capture. Performance Expectation c. Facilitate the revenue capture for Grants that have been awarded to patients being treated in the Cancer Institute. Performance Expectation d. Performance Expectation e. Team Member Experience Category Weight 0.1 Performance Expectation a. Communicate effectively and professionally with the members of the Cancer Institute and supportive teams. Performance Expectation b. Support the Cancer Institute by reporting revenue capture associated with Grants, free drugs, and co-pay assistance obtained. Performance Expectation c.
