Job Summary

The Sr. Manager will oversee the support teams responsible for the daily operations of our database environments and business intelligence infrastructure. The primary environments include SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, and Tableau, with diverse offshore and onshore resources supporting them.

The teams are tasked with supporting databases, infrastructure, ETL processes, Master Data Management, visualizations, and integrations such as SSIS and PowerShell scripting.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Database, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Warehouse Support teams.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for managing IT Requests, Incidents, Changes, and Enhancements.
  • Collaborate with architects on maintaining relevant architecture processes and deliverables.
  • Establish relationships with business stakeholders to advocate for BI and database deliverables.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members for consistent quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with architects and business users on information requirements and data structures implementation.
  • Collaborate on the evolution of BI software platforms and tools.
  • Develop and manage team resources per departmental goals and budget.
  • Assist with vendor analysis, selection, and review processes.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, security, and backups.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and develop a team of database administrators.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for database solutions and BI architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and issue resolution.
  • Utilize root cause analysis to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server support experience.
  • Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL tools.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of database design and application architecture.
  • Coding skills in Standard SQL and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
