We are seeking a skilled and passionate Personal Chef to provide top-tier culinary services for our family. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating customized meal plans, preparing a variety of cuisines, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. The Personal Chef will be responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, from menu planning and grocery shopping to cooking and kitchen cleanup.

This is a full-time position: 5-6 days/week and 6 hours/day

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Planning and Meal Preparation:
  • Develop personalized menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and nutritional needs.
  • Prepare a variety of high-quality, flavorful meals.
  • Ensure meals are ready at agreed-upon times and provide reheating or storage instructions as needed.
Grocery Shopping and Inventory Management:
  • Purchase fresh ingredients while managing food costs within a given budget.
  • Maintain an organized kitchen with well-stocked ingredients and supplies.
  • Keep track of pantry items and ensure timely replenishment.

Kitchen Management:
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ensure all cooking equipment and appliances are properly used and maintained.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Event Catering and Special Occasions:
  • Plan and execute special event menus for occasions such as dinner parties, holidays, and celebrations.
  • Provide exceptional presentation and service for special events.

Client Interaction and Feedback:
  • Communicate regularly with the client to discuss meal preferences, feedback, and any changes in dietary needs.
  • Adjust menus and recipes based on client feedback and preferences.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with meal prep and cooking for clients with specific dietary needs.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
